Job description

Become an Employee-Owner at PERRY proTECH! A Distribution Lead is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of goods and will perform and oversee the processing of goods handling at their reporting location. This individual is responsible for monitoring inventory levels and maintaining the accurate and efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, stocking, assembling, and transporting goods.

About the Role:
  • Perform and oversee the receipt, assembly, and transportation of equipment, ensuring all activities performed are completed at a level consistent with PERRY proTECH’s high expectations
  • Ensure monthly and quarterly inventory counts are completed, verified, and reported
  • Assist the field service staff in completing car stock inventories as needed
  • Maintain the organization of the warehouse based on the timeline of customer orders
  • Maintain an awareness of inbound order status to define task priorities
  • Review open sales and purchase orders and address accordingly
  • Communicate with internal logistics team regarding the receipt and delivery of goods as well as the timely completion of other task assignments
  • Communicate with logistics and sales to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded
  • Participate in training to ensure in-depth knowledge of common ERP Systems
Requirements amp; Qualifications:
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive product knowledge and understanding of department processes
  • Strong computer skills and analytical abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prioritize customer service and client satisfaction
  • Present yourself in a professional and courteous manner as a representative of PERRY proTECH
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate degree is preferred
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • General office equipment knowledge and experience in a Logistics environment is a plus
  • Pass IDOT/ODOT Physical
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
