VectorUSA is seeking a highly motivated Pre-Sales Engineer specializing in Physical Security to support their nationwide sales team from the Torrance, CA office. This role acts as a critical bridge between Sales, Engineering, and clients, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions while ensuring all technical and business requirements are documented for engineering and estimation teams.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a primary technical liaison between Sales, clients, and internal Engineering/Estimation teams
• Lead and participate in client-facing discovery sessions, workshops, and site walks to understand business objectives and technical requirements
• Translate client needs into conceptual solutions and high-level architectures for physical security and network infrastructure
• Collaborate with Sales to position solutions effectively, including technical presentations and client consultations
• Review RFPs, RFQs, SOWs, and design documents to develop aligned solution strategies
• Produce clear, detailed technical documentation, including:
• Solution narratives
• Scopes of work
• Assumptions and clarifications
• Design intent documentation for engineering teams
