We are seeking an onsiteDistribution Team Member who is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the inventory of Shoulder Innovations products in our Grand Rapids warehouse.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Monitoring levels on a weekly basis to ensure appropriate inventory availability
  • Managing inventory life-cycle to minimize product expiration issues
  • Review and assessment of surgical instrumentation prior to distribution
  • Assembling products into surgical kits
  • Monthly inventory count/cycle count
  • Ensure all items in the warehouse are following the quality management system standards
  • Partnering with leadership on key supply chain and customer service initiatives
  • Analyzing inventory data for effective decision making
  • Evaluating Shoulder processes to increase efficiencies/effectiveness and provide recommendations to management and sales leaders
  • Initiate changes regarding supply chain policies and procedures
  • Investigate issues within the ERP system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance, which centers on exceeding customer expectations
  • Ensuring Shoulder Innovations is able to support its customers and distribution partners on-time, every-time.
  • Act as ERP subject matter expert in all distribution modules

We believe to be successful as a Distribution Team Member; you will have the following:

  • Bachelors degree in business, Operations, or supply chain management preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), inventory/order management software, and Microsoft Excel and MS office
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and dependable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
