WHAT YOU'LL DO

The purpose of the Parts & Tractor Runner is to assist the mobile technician fleet, stores, and tractor assembly centers in transporting company owned, customer owned, tractors, equipment, and parts to various locations to allow the items to be sold or repaired, as necessary.  The Parts & Tractor Runner will also assist mobile technicians, stores, and tractor assembly centers with repairs, merchandising, and customer service, as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS

  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest
  • Responsible for completing transportation of assets simple service work in a safe and timely manner.
  • Will travel daily to customers, stores, tractor assembly centers, and 3rd party dealers.
  • Document work performed daily using various computer systems and programs.
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment & tools.
  • Use of computer systems and programs to identify parts and troubleshoot systems.
  • Loading and unloading of customer machines for repair and delivery.
  • Required to handle multiple priorities, organize workloads, and meet deadlines.
  • Operate machinery and equipment such as tractors, gantry cranes, electric hoists, servicing and diagnostic equipment, service trucks, forklifts, and multimeters.
  • Will occasionally be required to stay overnight when traveling.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized service vehicle.
  • Provide a safe environment by keeping work areas clean & organized.
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties.

PREFERED QUALIFICATION

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean Driving record no major violations
  • Experience and proficiency using, pulling a loaded trailer.
  • Experience and proficiency securing assets of various weights and sizes for transport.
  • Experience and proficiency operating farm equipment or heavy construction equipment.
  • Experience and proficiency with computer-based systems including Microsoft Office.

  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to lift 65 pounds at times.

  • Must be able to see at close and far distances.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.
