McDaniel Supply Company is seeking a motivated and dependable Distribution Associate to support our commissary operations within the Greenville County Detention Center. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and contribute to the smooth functioning of our distribution processes. Position Overview
As a Distribution Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining efficient operations in our warehouse and commissary. From receiving shipments to picking, packing, and delivering orders, your accuracy and professionalism will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
  • Pull orders according to receipts, verify item accuracy and quantities, bag and seal items, and place them in designated carts for delivery.
  • Dispense orders to inmates throughout the detention facility, including:
    • Confirm inmate identity using facility identification.
    • Deliver orders promptly and professionally.
    • Document discrepancies or damages.
    • Obtain inmate signatures and provide receipts.
    • Return copies for commissary records and properly dispose of delivery-related waste.
  • Assist with inventory restocking for next day's operations.
  • Unload pallets and totes from transfer trucks and organize inventory.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain quality, timeliness, and presentation standards.
  • Promote a customer-first approach and contribute to overall service excellence.
  • Attend training sessions provided by McDaniel Supply Company and any facility-required classes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
