Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION
LOCAL DELIVERY PERSON/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE NEEDED for BULK FOOD INGREDIENTS AND PACKAGING DISTRIBUTION COMPANY. LOOKING FOR A LONG TERM and STABLE Candidate. A responsible candidate who can maintain planned route efficiency to ensure adherence to delivery schedules. The ideal candidate has experience driving trucks and makes safety a number one priority. Growing company looking for reliable and mature candidate to join our team. This is a full-time position, offering hourly pay, with automatic over-time.
WORK SCHEDULE
Mon-Friday 7-4PM - go home daily. Saturday and Sunday OFF. Possible OVERTIME.
WORK LOCATION: In person. Warehouse based out of Sun Valley, CA
REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California Class A Driver and experience with driving manual transmission trucks. Clean driving record.
Will train on operating electric pallet jacks, forklifts and lift-gates.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Experience with food, ingredient and packaging distribution.
Looking for a long term and stable candidate. 
Experience with shipping, receiving, procedures a plus.
Forklift and electric pallet jack experience a plus, but will train.
Warehouse and Logistics experience.
Pass a drug test, background check and e-verify.
Must have clear communication to collaborate with team.
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Familiarity with Google Maps and GPS systems.
Understanding of all relevant truck driving laws and regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily build and delivery of orders to local customers using electric pallet jacks.
General warehouse duties as assigned.
Forklift operation.
Pulling and assembling orders based on customers' orders.
Loading and unloading of trucks.
Pick-up of products from local vendors.
Clean up and maintenance of work space.

Pay: From $29.00 per hour
