Job Title: Distribution Center Associate

Reports to: DC Fulfillment Manager

FLSA Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Purpose: The Distribution Center Associate is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining Peepers quality standards and metrics. They are skilled in various functions within the Distribution Center and are assigned daily duties based on the needs of the business.

This position is based at our headquarters in Michigan City, IN.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Order Picking o Utilize OWMS to pick product according to sales order requirements
  • Working knowledge of in-house software o In-depth understanding of Distribution Center organization to ensure efficient picking
  • Perform basic quality assurance by inspecting product and ensuring accurate inventory counts o Meet expectations for number and accuracy of orders picked
  • Order Packing o Utilize OWMS to pack orders for shipment according to sales order requirements
  • Working knowledge of in-house software o In-depth understanding of special instruction packing requirements
  • Perform basic quality assurance by inspecting product and ensuring accurate inventory counts o Meet expectations for number and accuracy of work orders picked
  • Order Shipping o Ship Consumer Direct and Wholesale order utilizing Shipstation
