This position provides administrative support to the Distribution Center as well as updates, maintains and provides statistical reporting in order to make production and financial decisions. This position is also responsible for administering the shipping process with external shipping providers.

Job Description

What Would You Do? The Specifics.

  • Compiles in excel spreadsheet the Daily Work volume, in order to project the labor requirements for the Shipping Department.
  • Creates and runs reports through the billing analysis tool in the UPS Campus Ship website in order to track and trend freight costs and determines shipping cost per unit.
  • Monitors the UPS website in order to communicate with DC, stores and labs any possible delays of shipments.
  • Through the UPS website, compiles data for international declared cost.
  • Administers the "UPS Campus Ship" system by setting up and deleting accounts.
  • Compiles data for "Key Measureable" reports, charts and graphs in Excel and PowerPoint for monthly presentations and warehouse monitor.
  • Provides administrative support to Distribution Center Director.
  • Receives and sorts all mail received at the distribution center.
  • Completes the onboarding of DC associates.
  • Supports the security system for the Newpoint location.
Qualifications

Work Experience

  • 1-2 years Administrative experience (Required)
  • 1-2 years Warehouse experience (Preferred)

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)

Additional Skills

    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Required)
    • Strong data entry skills (Required)
    • Experience with inventory software, UPS Campus Ship & UPS Flex Global View (Preferred)
    • Understands and analyzes data in different formats (Required)
