Overview
Stryten Energy is currently hiring a Distribution Center Associate. You will provide support to the Distrubution Center operations specifically for ordering, pulling parts and shop supplies; ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct; verifying stock and keeping logs of various floor equipment. You will maintain an organized layout and safe work environment.

Responsibilities
Production
  • Meet all daily order requirements
  • Pull batteries and complete per the Sales Order
  • Perform light welding by using a torch
  • Use certain power and hand tools while installing accessories/parts onto battery
  • Apply all needed accessories onto the battery per the Sales Order
  • Complete batteries per Sales Order in a timely manner
  • Drive a forklift and load batteries onto trucks when instructed

Inventory
  • Cycle counts to ensure inventory levels are accurate

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Job related experience a plus

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Operate equipment used in maintaining accurate records; and operating pertinent software.
  • Work with others; work with data utilizing defined but different processes; and operate equipment using a variety of standardized methods.
  • Problem solving with data may require independent interpretation; and problem solving with equipment is limited to moderate problem solving may be required to identify issues and select action plans.
  • Attention to detail; communicating with a diverse group of individuals; adapting to changing work priorities; and meeting deadlines and schedules.
  • Work under direct supervision using standardized procedures; providing information and/or advising others; and tracking budget expenditures.

Physical Demands
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Able to see, hear and speak; able to sit, stand for at least two hours at a time, sit, bend, craw, squat, kneel and climb able to use both arms and hands to use a computer and peripherals and lift 40 pounds from floor level to overhead, able to work below ground level in confined spaces and on stationary or mobile elevated platforms, able to wear respirator and other PPE as required, able to climb stairs. Able to work extended shifts and weekends as needed.

Work Environment
  • Able to work inside or outside the plant environment and in all climate conditions. The employee may occasionally be exposed to lead, fume, noise, dirt, hazards, chemicals, heat and cold. Travel as required for training, meeting with regulatory agencies, and to other company sanctioned events.
