Job description

You’ll love it here!  We are hiring immediately for multiple Maintenance Associate positions. These positions will start on a temporary contract, with an end date of January 30th, 2027.

As a Maintenance Associate, you will be working with the Facilities team to ensure the building is clear of debris, stays organized and is as safe as possible.
Availability Requirement

You must be available to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.
Please note, some flexibility may be required depending on business needs.


What you’ll do:

  • Collect and dispose of cardboard, wood, and debris.

  • Operate the compactor and cardboard baler.

  • Perform various tasks such as hanging signs, moving furniture and assisting in projects around the building.

  • Maintain, inspect and change powered equipment batteries.

  • Ensure forklifts and other machines are collected, parked and charging.

  • Paint and perform janitorial duties.

  • Occasionally work at heights up to 30 feet.

  • Operate power-jacks and lift trucks.

  • Other duties as assigned or required.


What we’re looking for:

  • Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. including bending and twisting.

  • Experience in trades, general maintenance, or repairs of any sort would be an asset.

  • MHE (material handling equipment) certification and experience would be an asset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • General computer literacy.

  • Ability to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.

  • Painting experience is an asset.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
