Le titulaire de ce poste effectue les activités et les tâches nécessaires au traitement du flux des produits passant par le centre de distribution. Ces processus sont variés et comprennent, entre autres, la réception des marchandises; le déchargement de camions, de remorques et de conteneurs; la palettisation des marchandises entrantes et sortantes; la préparation et le traitement des commandes à expédier; l’emballage et le traitement des commandes; l’utilisation de chariots élévateurs, de chariots à marchandises et de balayeuses (selon les tâches assignées); et le chargement des produits conformément aux méthodes d’exploitation normalisées relatives à chaque processus.
Principales responsabilités
• Utiliser de façon sécuritaire différents types d’appareils de manutention du matériel (p. ex., un chariot à conducteur porté ou accompagnant, un chariot élévateur à fourche ou rétractable, un appareil de manutention du matériel ou un appareil à conducteur au centre) afin d’effectuer diverses tâches, comme le chargement, le déchargement, le tri, l’entreposage et le transport de produits.
• Travailler en collaboration avec les directeurs, Exploitation, les coordonnateurs de secteur et d’autres associés afin d’accomplir de façon efficace les tâches assignées.
• Offrir un excellent service à la clientèle aux équipes internes de distribution et des magasins en ayant le souci du détail et en effectuant les tâches assignées en temps opportun.
• Maintenir la zone de travail assignée en bon ordre.
• Les responsabilités clés peuvent varier en fonction de l’emplacement.
