The Distribution Enablement Group (DEG) is an expanding team within Natixis. Our group encompasses Distribution Execution Consulting & Strategy, Distribution Platform Enablement, Data Science & AI, and Data & AI Governance. Our core mission is to drive business growth and improve efficiency by extracting insights from data and streamlining the use of data & technology. We partner closely with Sales, Marketing and other Business teams to simplify & automate workflows, develop actionable analytic reports, generate leads, and more.
As a Distribution Consultant, you will become an expert in the effective use of our tools and data as it relates to sales engagement initiatives. You will collaborate across functions with internal partners, including sales, marketing, finance, investment strategies group, financial institution group, compliance, and legal. Your work will improve processes, build practical insights, and help distribution teams optimize their efforts. The role involves leading the integration of resources, streamlining strategies, and leading sales enablement efforts to ensure that distribution channels are aligned with organizational objectives and industry trends. This is a hybrid position located in Boston, MA.
What you will do:
  • Support the execution of distribution and sales enablement initiatives by gathering information, preparing materials, and assisting with business planning activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Technology) to help coordinate projects and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Assist in maintaining and improving client-facing tools, resources, and processes that support sales engagement and relationship management
  • Help analyze data related to sales activity, client targeting, and distribution effectiveness using tools such as Excel, SQL, and reporting platforms
  • Write and modify basic SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data for reporting and business insights
  • Support the creation of recurring and ad-hoc reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
  • Assist with training efforts by helping organize materials, documentation, and tools used by distribution teams
  • Support evaluation of distribution tools and technology by documenting feedback, tracking issues, and assisting with testing enhancements
  • Help monitor performance metrics and prepare summary insights for leadership presentations
  • Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in sales support, analytics, distribution enablement, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in mutual fund wholesaling and sales strategy, with developing knowledge of asset management products and distribution channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain data and ideas to different audiences
  • High energy, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and interest in working with data, systems, and business tools
  • Experience with SQL, including writing basic queries
  • Comfort working with Excel and structured data; exposure to CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus but not required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with teammates

In accordance with the Massachusetts Wage transparency act, the expected annual base salary for this Boston, MA, based position is $90,000 - $122,000. Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and other Natixis sponsored benefit programs.
