Your Role:

The Distribution Associate 2 - 1st Shift role at MilliporeSigma in Milwaukee, WI plays a critical role in the fulfillment of customer orders through the activities of receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of life science materials. Job duties include:

  • Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Load and unload freight
  • Operate equipment to produce documents for workload
  • Locate, move, deliver, or return all materials to proper areas
  • Prepare materials for shipment
  • Accurately document all movement of materials
  • Audit inventory locations to maintain inventory and location accuracy
  • Verify chemicals, catalog number, lot number, special requests information, unit size and weights against order documentation found in packing instructions
  • Print and apply all required labels and markings to box to comply withhazardous materialsregulations
  • Condense, straighten, and maintain warehouse areas
  • Work with team leads and supervisors to troubleshoot system issues
  • Report unsafe or potentially unsafe hazards to team leads or any member of management

Physical Attributes:

  • May involve standing for long periods of time, operating powered industrial equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of fulfillment,customer service, or warehousing experience
  • Oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of staff
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and adjusting to changing priorities in the environment
  • Proficiency with computers, scanners, printers, andshipping equipment
  • Experience following good distribution practices(GDP), where applicable

Pay Range for this position: $19-$30/hour

The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
