About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

As the Field CTO, you will lead the technical vision for our most strategic global accounts. You will be the primary architect responsible for expanding Agentforce for Supply Chain (leveraging the Regrello acquisition) into our broader Agentic Process Automation suite. You will bridge the gap between complex legacy systems and autonomous intelligence across Supply Chain, Financial Services (FINS), and Technology, Media, & Telecom (TMT).
We are looking for a visionary builder-leader to serve as the architectural bridge between high-level AI strategy and hardened enterprise execution. You will act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives at our most strategic accounts, translating the complexities of Agentic Process Automation into scalable, high-impact business outcomes. Your mission is to ensure our technology doesn't just innovate, but fundamentally re-engineers the digital core of the world's leading organizations.

Responsibilities:
  • Architecting the "Agentic Stack": Define how autonomous agents interact with LLMs, legacy ERPs (SAP, Oracle), and human-in-the-loop workflows. Ensure adoption aligns with the customer's broader enterprise architecture and digital transformation roadmap.
  • Product & Engineering Partnership: Partner with the GM and Product Management to ensure the roadmap is built for "Day 2" enterprise operations. Serve as the final escalation point for complex engineering challenges regarding concurrency, data privacy, and global compliance.
  • Enterprise Connective Tissue: Design the framework for Agentforce to navigate fragmented IT landscapes. Ensure the architecture meets the highest standards for AI ethics, data residency, and residency requirements across Supply Chain, FINS, and TMT.
  • High-Stakes Technical Advisory: Serve as a strategic advisor to CIO, CTO, and Enterprise Architects at our largest accounts. Lead architectural engagements that translate business strategies into technical enablers for desired outcomes.
  • Value Engineering & Prototyping: Lead rapid prototyping for first-of-a-kind capabilities. Develop business cases that link technical agentic reasoning to tangible ROI and measurable business value.
  • Field-to-Product Bridge: Prioritize product features based on hyper-scale field requirements. Ensure Regrello-originated capabilities are deeply integrated and leveraged across the broader Agentforce ecosystem.
Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of deep technical experience in a software vendor or enterprise architecture discipline, with a proven track record as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or Distinguished Architect.
  • Founder Mentality: Demonstrated experience building a product from zero to scale and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Systems Thinking & Integration: Deep expertise in how complex systems communicate, including extensive experience with ERP integrations, workflow engines, and distributed systems.
  • AI & Agentic Fluency: Expert-level understanding of the current AI landscape, specifically regarding agentic reasoning, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and the operationalization of LLMs.
  • Executive Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relevant connections with senior executives and lead by technical authority across a matrix-style organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Domain Expertise: Deep experience in supply chain technology, process automation, or workflow orchestration.
  • Architectural Frameworks: Familiarity with modern digital operating models and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
  • Salesforce Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with Salesforce GTM motions, Data Cloud, and the broader Salesforce platform architecture.
  • Global Perspective: Experience navigating the technical, data privacy, and security requirements for global enterprise cloud deployments.
