Job Description/Responsibilities

The Plant Engineer and Network Reliability Manager will lead engineering, reliability, maintenance, and safety initiatives across Sazerac manufacturing operations. This role combines hands-on plant engineering leadership with network-level reliability strategy, driving improvements in equipment performance, maintenance effectiveness, safety, compliance, and operating costs. The role will lead cross-functional initiatives across multiple locations while supporting the development of systems, processes, and team capabilities that improve long-term operational performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead plant engineering, reliability, and maintenance strategies, including maintenance programs, safety work orders, maintenance costs, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and audit comprehensive safety management systems, including department-specific safety programs, training initiatives, safety rules, equipment inspections, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead network-level reliability and engineering projects across multiple manufacturing locations, managing priorities, resources, timelines, budgets, and implementation.
  • Partner with leaders and team members to strengthen performance management, team development, accountability, and Sazerac culture through feedback, performance development systems, and engagement initiatives.
  • Lead and support Infrastructure and Capex projects at manufacturing facilities while identifying opportunities to reduce operating expenses, improve reliability, and move the organization toward zero recordable accidents.
Qualifications/RequirementsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of relevant engineering, reliability, maintenance, manufacturing, or operations experience, including implementation and/or project management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, lead cross-functional teams, and effectively manage priorities, budgets, and timelines across complex manufacturing environments.
  • Strong computer and technology skills with proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to effectively utilize business and technical systems.
Preferred
    • 5+ years of experience managing engineering, reliability, maintenance, or operational initiatives across multiple locations.
