What you bring to the table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Serve up signature cocktails, cold brews, and delicious bites while fostering a lively, welcoming bar and lounge atmosphere.
  • Conduct guided tastings of Ko-Kwel Spirits products, providing educational and engaging storytelling about the distillation process, flavor profiles and brand heritage.
  • Actively promote and sell Cask Club memberships, sharing detailed knowledge of the program and its benefits.
  • Create and serve signature cocktails and spirit flights that highlight the distillery's portfolio.
  • Demonstrate a deep menu knowledge and assist with recommendations, pairings, and upselling of Ko-Kwel Spirits.
  • Maintain speed, accuracy and consistency during high-volume or peak service periods.
  • Confidently open and close the bar/tasting room, ensuring everything runs smoothly and all side work is completed with care.
  • Prioritize guest safety by practicing responsible alcohol service and staying alert to guest awareness at all times while keeping communication open with teammates and supervisors.
  • Protect the trust of both guests and team members by upholding confidentiality at all times.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)

  • Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests (and the team) feel welcome and cared for every day.
  • Experience helpful but not required. Previous experience in hospitality field with demonstrated excellent customer service ability.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must have valid OLCC permit and working knowledge of OLCC regulations.
  • Must have a food handler's card and meet health, safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully navigate the point-of-sale system and accurately manage a cash bank, credit card activity, and balance with corresponding paperwork at the end of your shift.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform your duties with a minimum of supervision and handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free workplace policies.
