POSITION: VINEGAR MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN
DEPARTMENT: VINEGAR MANUFACTURING
SHIFT INTENTION: 1st Shift with some weekends
DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the manufacturing of White Distilled and Apple Cider Vinegar.
Prepares W/D Vinegar mixes.
Pumps A/C stock from field tanks to feed tanks for acetators.
Pumps vinegar from acetators to field tanks.
Repairs and does preventive maintenance on equipment.
Distillates/titrates vinegar samples. Prepares vinegar mix reports.
Must be familiar with all jobs within the Vinegar Generation and Pressing/ Filtering Department.
Performs on-line Quality Assurance checks.
Completes all paperwork to include Quality Assurance reports, product movement, inventory, maintenance requests, purchase orders, etc.
Must have the safety training and responsible for tank cleaning operations.
Must pass GMP test.
Responsible for other assigned duties to include but not limited to housekeeping, safety, recovering damaged product, etc.
NOTE: Three to six-month jobs related experience prior to appointment.
