Job description

Our client, a European based technology and manufacturing company, is seeking an Associate Counsel to join its North American Legal Department in Alpharetta, GA. This role will provide legal support across a broad range of commercial, project, and supply chain matters for a global leader in industrial and environmental solutions.

Key Responsibilities


• Review, draft, and negotiate commercial, project, and supply chain contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on project execution, risk management, claims administration, and dispute resolution.
• Partner with business leaders on day-to-day operational and commercial matters.
• Support contract negotiations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage outside counsel and assist with legal strategy as needed.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple business units.

Qualifications


• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. bar admission.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience.
• Experience with commercial agreements, vendor contracts, services agreements, licensing, leasing, or related transactions.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Willingness to travel within North America, with occasional international travel.
