What is a dispensary employee?

Dispensary employees are staff members who work at medical or recreational cannabis dispensaries. Their responsibilities typically include assisting customers, providing information about various cannabis products, verifying customer identification, handling sales transactions, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws. Dispensary employees may also help maintain inventory, organize displays, and keep the facility clean and secure. These positions often require strong customer service skills, knowledge of cannabis products, and adherence to strict regulatory standards.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a dispensary employee?

As a dispensary employee, your daily responsibilities often include assisting customers with product selection, verifying identification and medical cards (where required), maintaining accurate sales records, and ensuring compliance with all local and state cannabis regulations. Collaboration with other team members, such as budtenders and managers, is essential to provide a seamless customer experience and support the overall operation of the dispensary.
