Job description

We are looking for a Dispatcher/Service Office Assistant in Blountville, TN. This is a full-time, on-site position. This role supports the Service Office Manager in managing incoming customer and technician communication, ensuring efficient scheduling and dispatching, and maintaining a positive first impression for all callers and visitors.
Pay: $19 to $24 per hour, depending on experience. Annual profit sharing.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and assigning incoming service calls, ensuring proper communication with customers and technicians.
  • Support daily dispatching and scheduling of HVAC technicians matching complexity with technician skills.
  • Coordinate with the Service Office Manager to prepare technician schedules for upcoming workdays.
  • Perform clerical functions, including generating service job numbers and purchase orders.
  • Manage phone communications and appointments.
  • Help resolve customer complaints efficiently and report incidents to management.
  • Collaborate with the fulfillment team to organize departmental resources and achieve goals.
  • Make outbound calls to our customers for feedback regarding their service appointment.
  • Other duties as needed for the smooth operation of our Service Department.

Experience, Training, and/or Certifications:
  • 2 years of dispatching experience.
  • Experience in a construction service environment preferred.

  • Excellent communication and customer services skills.
  • Proofreading, grammar, and business writing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
