HVAC Service Manager

TNT Heating & Air Inc. is a 36-year-old licensed and insured HVAC company servicing both North Carolina and South Carolina. Our concept is to provide efficient and quality work in all areas of HVAC service. From our 24-hour emergency service department to the installation of new equipment, we cover all expectations that heating and air require while staying up to date on all code requirements.

Position Summary: To manage the service operations of the company. This includes overseeing the daily dispatching and efficiencies of the service technicians and department. Other duties include customer relations, reviewing all billing and warranty claims, and interaction with the other managers with respect to their warranty and installation needs. Responsible for making sure that all service techs are properly trained. The Service Manager is expected to handle all aspects of the service department and to ensure its continued profitability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily service operations and technician scheduling in ServiceTitan
  • Coach and support service technicians on performance, quality, and customer experience
  • Track and manage department KPIs (productivity, revenue, callbacks, and close rates)
  • Ensure jobs are properly dispatched, completed, and closed out accurately
  • Handle escalated customer issues and support field teams as needed
  • Drive training, consistency, and accountability within the service team

Goal of the Role: Improve technician performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while supporting the growth of TNT Heating & Air.


Pay: $65-85k - base salary plus commission and bonuses

Work Hours: Mon- Fri 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Schedule may vary. Some weekend work, as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • 3+ years' experience in the HVAC field - both service and install preferred
  • Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing
  • Management experience in a trade industry. HVAC preferred
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity will all applicable codes preferred
  • Ability to read business reports and translate information into actionable items
  • Strong leadership and training abilities
  • Experience with Service Titan software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
