The premier sightseeing business in Seattle, operating the City Sightseeing Seattle brands, is looking to hire an Operational Manager to effectively lead the team, and fleet of vehicles, to a new level of greatness. As Operation Manager you will work to support, direct, plan, train, organize, dispatch, and monitor the guest experience on daily sightseeing tours and Hop-On Hop-Off operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with dispatching and success in managing a team. To ensure success, this individual must be a self-driven problem solver, who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is a stickler for quality control. The team at City Sightseeing Seattle strive to be best-in-class as creators of unforgettable memories for its guests and is now seeking an operational mastermind who will contribute to accomplishing this aim.

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:
  • Supervise, the coordination and execution of the day-to-day operations of the companyโ€™s vehicles and Driver Guides to ensure service excellence
  • Recruiting, vetting, hiring, training, scheduling, and reporting hours for the Driver Guides while adhering to all legal regulation
  • Quality control, coaching and ongoing assessment of the Driver Guides and vehicles to ensure the companyโ€™s policies and procedures are delivered
  • Oversee all requirements of the fleet, including the daily maintenance, fueling, and cleaning, as well as following all regulatory inspections
  • Pro-actively dealing with operational deficiencies and resolving as necessary
  • Organize and conduct tasks to ensure safe, clean, cost-effective, and consistent on-time operating performance
  • Work within the operations budget to fulfill strategic priorities
  • Forecasting and scheduling of all resources, including vehicle assignment to tours
  • Communicate professionally to resolve challenges with Driver Guides, colleagues, and guests
  • Ensuring completion of daily and weekly operations reports
