As a Security Officer Dispatch Operations Driver in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatcher with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarms and access control activity, document incidents, and support timely response to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor alarm systems, cameras, access control activity, and communication channels; receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service to appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, requests, and dispatch activity accurately in required logs and reporting systems, escalating critical information according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite personnel, management, and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, and report observed security-related concerns or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
