Position Summary
The Dispatcher plays a critical role in daily operations by coordinating communication between drivers, operations, and customer service to ensure efficient route execution and timely service delivery. This position is responsible for dispatching drivers, resolving service issues in real time, and maintaining accurate operational and customer records.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Route Coordination
  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day to provide routing instructions, updates, and support
  • Monitor route progress and proactively address delays, missed pickups, or service issues
  • Adjust routes as needed to maintain service efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate with operations leadership to ensure timely service completion

Customer Service & Issue Resolution
  • Respond to customer inquiries, service requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Investigate and resolve service issues such as missed pickups or delays
  • Communicate service updates and resolutions to customers as needed

Administrative & Data Management
  • Enter and maintain service orders, route data, and customer information in company systems
  • Review daily reports and assist with route scheduling and adjustments
  • Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, and service agreements
  • Support billing and collections processes as needed

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with drivers, route managers, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Assist with onboarding new accounts and transitioning service agreements from sales to operations
  • Support operational goals by maintaining workflow accuracy and responsiveness

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
