About the Role & Team

The role of Senior Solutions Analyst is critical for developinghigh qualitycloud and on-prem applications used to manage the complex labor needs for Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Aulani, and associated businesses (Disney Vacation Club, Disney Cruise Line Shoreside, Facility and Operations Services).

The Labor Systems team has a commitment to providing meaningful business insights and custom software to advance business goals; we pledge to provide a center of excellence for integrated data solutions, data science, business automation, and software architecture. With a focus on: Evangelism and implementation of advanced data engineering and data science practices,advancingsoftware engineering and architecture practices, and supporting the Labor Demand Planning System (LDPS) and advancing the capabilities of the system.

You will fill a critical role on our team by working on various software and data solutions. We are looking for people with an unwavering appetite and curiosity for learning innovative technologies and a passion for emerging technology.

You will report to theManager, Labor Systems Data Solutions.

What You Will Do:
  • Follow best practices for software development methodologies and testing procedures.

  • Design and develop agile, intuitive, and minimal maintenance sustainable software solutions for complex and time-consuming problems.

  • Collaborate with system clients and key partners toidentifyand implement efficiency opportunities with system and data processes.

  • Leverage AI tools to improve work efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance solution delivery.

  • Maintainan up-to-date knowledge of IT technologies and developments. This may involve attendingseminars andtraining events and reading relevant journals and technical documentation. Maintain an excellent working knowledge of data integration technologies currently in use.

  • Work effectively with all levels of Cast and leaders to achieve projectobjectives.

  • Work autonomously, make independent decisions, and react professionally to changing conditions.

  • Lead 'best practice' initiatives in support of continuous improvement.

  • Ensure Disney IT security standards are implemented on all application development, servers, and databases.

  • Provide high-level estimation based oninitialrequirements.

  • Break large complex problems into small and testable tasks.

  • Understand, recommend, and support robust reporting and analytic architectures.

  • Collect, process, and analyze large data sets.

  • Manage and prioritizenumeroustasks independently in afast-pacedenvironment.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation and cross-functional sustainment duties with the team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2+ years of strong Programming skills using Angular, Node, C#, Python, or JavaScript or equivalent work experience.

  • 2+ years of strong data technology skills using SQL Server, Snowflake, SSIS or Apache Airflow or equivalent work experience.

  • Solid understanding ofbuildautomation tools such as GitLab runners, GitHub Actions, Terraform or Jenkins.

  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.

  • Demonstrated experience developing solid relationships with various teams/partners to move work forward.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities in a demanding environment accurately and with minimal supervision.

  • Prioritization of multiple interdependent projects whilemonitoringand communicating progress.

  • Strong work ethic with meticulous accuracy and a fast-pacedquest for quality.

  • Ability to manage confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, data science, orequivalentfield/work experience.

  • Experience with Labor Systems such as My Time, CDS, Jewel,EiSS, or LDPS.

  • Ability to manage various timeline commitments.

  • Proactivelyidentifies, analyzes, and drives problems to resolution, managing complex issues simultaneously while effectively communicating across teams.

  • Effectively communicates technical actions and expectations to theappropriate partners.

  • Strives to be the partner of choice byseekingand understanding client business needs, identifyingappropriate technicalsolutions, and meeting/exceeding service expectations.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

PreferredEducation:

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $101,800.00-$136,500.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
