Job Summary:
The Client is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with deep technical expertise in Java/J2EE development, enterprise-level software engineering, and database integration to support its Business Systems Engineering (BSE) and Information Systems initiatives. The role includes requirement analysis, system design, application development, and support of enterprise IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, define, and document detailed business and system requirements
  • Develop, test, and implement efficient software solutions using J2EE/Java technologies
  • Conduct structured business process analysis and provide technical consultation
  • Perform technical research on technologies, tools, databases, and methods to meet project goals
  • Collaborate on project planning including task sequencing, WBS development, risk identification, and issue management
  • Prepare procurement-related documentation and assist with contract evaluation when needed
  • Coordinate project activities and provide regular status updates to the Project Manager
  • Assist in developing test strategies and conducting system testing and quality assurance
  • Support integration and automation of data exchange between systems

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Systems Analyst on enterprise IT projects
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, SDLC, and solution architecture
  • Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
  • Proficiency in Java development environments, including:
    • Java 1.6+, J2EE (JSP, EJB, JPA/Hibernate)
    • Frameworks: JSF, Wicket, Struts, Spring
    • Scripting: JavaScript, ASP
    • Application Servers: JBOSS 5.0+
    • Databases: Oracle 11g+, MS SQL Server, MySQL
    • SQL: stored procedures, triggers, and views
    • Source code management: CVS, Subversion
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in test planning, test case creation, and performance testing
  • Proven ability to deliver projects within scope, time, and budget
  • Experience integrating and automating processes across multiple systems

Preferred Skills:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Experience with:
