Job description

This role is responsible for the visual design, UX, and day-to-day maintenance of Fort Lauderdale United FC's web properties, ensuring the club's websites are visually on-brand, easy to navigate, and optimized to convert visitors into ticket buyers, youth program enrollees, and fans. This position sits within Brand & Creative but works closely with the Digital Media & Social team on landing pages, campaign microsites, and conversion optimization.


Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the FTL UTD club website and microsites (women's team, men's team, youth platform) in English and Spanish
  • Create and update landing pages for ticket sales, youth program enrollment, sponsorship inquiries, and event promotions
  • Ensure all web design is consistent with brand guidelines and visually compelling across desktop and mobile
  • Collaborate with the SEO/SEM Manager on conversion-optimized page layouts and UTM-tracked landing pages
  • Build and update web graphics, banners, and digital display assets
  • Manage CMS updates and content publishing for news, rosters, schedules, and promotions
  • Conduct regular UX audits and recommend improvements to site navigation, load speed, and mobile experience
  • Support email template design in coordination with the Email & CRM Marketing Manager


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of web design experience with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual design and UX sensibility
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Webflow, or equivalent CMS platforms
  • Strong skills in Adobe XD, Figma, or similar UI/UX design tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for front-end customization


Preferred

  • Sports, entertainment, or ticketing website experience
  • Experience designing bilingual (English/Spanish) web content
  • Basic knowledge of GA4 and conversion tracking
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or ticketing integrations


This is a hands-on, in-person role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Candidates should be prepared to work approximately 60 hours per week across six days and thrive in a culture built on hard work, accountability, and opportunity.


Compensation

Salary range: $29,000 - $39,200, depending on experience. Eligible for performance bonus tied to website performance, conversion optimization, ticket sales, youth program registrations, and digital user experience KPIs.
