Lead Product Manager, Production Technology

Job Summary:

The Production Technology team builds solutions supporting production, production finance and business affairs across multiple studios and distribution platforms. We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for some of our key applications.

Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the product roadmap for multiple applications
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows through technology
  • Align priorities with business goals and stakeholder needs
  • Define and own metrics to measure adoption, efficiency gains, and business impact post-launch
  • Conduct discovery to surface user and business pain points
  • Translate complex business requirements into actionable product specs
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executives and stakeholders
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate product risks and issues
  • Collaborate closely with developers in the role of subject matter expert
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure business preparedness and user adoption
  • Triage user reported issues and prioritize fixes within the backlog
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • 7+ years of product management experience
  • Strong background in business relationship management
  • Strong analytical and data skills
  • Ability to understand complex systems and end-to-end business processes
  • Ability to produce high-quality product specifications and documentation
  • Experience delivering custom software projects from discovery through launch
  • Experience partnering with the business on user acceptance testing
  • Experience delivering financial systems
  • Experience managing a product backlog
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple products
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working at a major studio in television production
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems (SAP)
  • Experience with data and analytics platforms (Snowflake, Cortex AI)
  • Experience with AI productivity tools (Claude Cowork, Cursor, Copilot)
  • Experience with Airtable

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA $155,700.00-$208,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
