Job description

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer – Licensed Brands to join our team. In this role, you’ll bring some of the world’s most recognizable brands to life at retail—designing compelling, on-trend packaging across a range of home products.

You’ll work closely with product development, sales, and cross-functional teams to create packaging that not only meets brand guidelines but stands out on shelf. This is an ideal opportunity for a designer who is passionate about storytelling through design, has a strong eye for typography and color, and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design innovative, retail-ready packaging across licensed and in-house brands within the home category
  • Translate licensed IP (including Disney Princess, Marvel, Sanrio) into compelling packaging while adhering to strict brand guidelines and approval processes
  • Partner closely with product development and packaging teams to execute design concepts from ideation through final production
  • Revise and evolve existing packaging to align with brand standards and retailer needs
  • Create sales collateral including presentation boards and sales sheets to support go-to-market efforts
  • Develop high-quality mockups, hand comps, and visual renderings for internal and external presentations
  • Retouch and manipulate imagery using Photoshop for packaging and marketing applications
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
  • Support showroom setup and execution for key meetings and Market Week
  • Assist in seasonal trend research and contribute to concept development
  • Help prepare materials for sales meetings, line reviews, and customer presentations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Communications Design, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in packaging or graphic design (consumer products preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced skills in Photoshop
  • Demonstrated ability to work within licensed brand guidelines (experience with licensed products strongly preferred)
  • Strong eye for typography, layout, and color with a portfolio that reflects clean, thoughtful design
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Portfolio required for consideration

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to work on globally recognized brands and see your designs come to life at major retailers. You’ll be part of a highly collaborative team where creativity, speed, and execution are key—and where your work has a direct impact on what customers see on shelf.
