Job description

Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking a Cabinet Restoration Artist to work on kitchen cabinet projects completing our 1 Day Wood Restoration service on wood cabinetry and other wood surfaces. We are looking for individuals seeking a flexible schedule to fill a part-time position and work approximately 1-3 days per week. In addition to the 1-day Tune Ups, you will be assisting on demo and final touches of kitchen remodels.

Depending on prior experience in painting/tool efficiency, there will be more potential for an increase in hours and growth.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Arrive to job site on time in logo'd shirt and appropriate work clothing.
  • Follow a checklist to repair wood cabinets and other wood surfaces by repairing color and color matching.
  • Follow instructions given by project manager
  • Follow Kitchen Tune-Up's customer service Trustpoints on every project
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
  • Communicate with project manager daily about progress
  • Work quickly and efficiently
  • Install decorative hardware
  • Adjust and repair hinges and drawers slides as needed
  • Install custom kitchen storage organizers (roll outs, trash pull outs and drawer boxes)

Additional Requirements:
  • Stellar work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level
  • Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time
  • Ability to color-match (cannot be color blind)
  • Ability to safely use and operate power tools (preferred)
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
