Job Description:

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with Resorts Experience Activation & Integration (REAI) develops and sustains business intelligence solutions that support operational teams across Walt Disney World Resort, including Resorts, Transportation, Premium Services, Water Parks, and more. This role designs and delivers Tableau dashboards and scalable analytics solutions by integrating data from diverse sources through SQL, Python, Snowflake, and related technologies. Through strong partnership, consultation, and data storytelling, the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst transforms complex data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making and operational excellence. They identify key performance indicators, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and continuously improve the performance, scalability, and effectiveness of business intelligence tools and processes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with strategic thinking, excels at translating data into meaningful business insights, and builds trusted partnerships across all levels of the organization. This role may also mentor and develop fellow analysts while helping advance business intelligence capabilities across the team.

You will report to the Manager, Business Intelligence.

This is a Full-Time role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations that drive operational insights and business improvements

  • Design, build, and maintain GitLab-based data pipelines that automate SQL and Python workflows, enabling scalable ETL processes into Snowflake and reliable metric delivery for Tableau reporting

  • Apply strategic thinking to scope projects, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and deliver actionable insights and reporting solutions

  • Communicate effectively with audiences ranging from operational Cast Members to executive leadership

  • Translate complex data concepts into clear technical and operational insights that support KPI development, adoption, and decision-making

  • Train and mentor Business Intelligence Analysts in Tableau, SQL, database management, and business intelligence best practices

  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to support data access, metric governance, and collaboration across teams

  • Gather and define business requirements through stakeholder engagement, process analysis, and evaluation of operational needs

  • Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and recommend effective business intelligence solutions

  • Collaborate with Developers and System Architects to design scalable solutions that meet both business and technical requirements

  • Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging business intelligence tools, visualization technologies, and industry best practices

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in an individual contributor or leadership role with technical responsibilities

  • 3+ years of experience using SQL, Python, or similar programming languages

  • 2+ years of experience developing Tableau dashboards and data visualizations

  • Experience integrating and transforming data across enterprise data platforms

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills

  • Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and partner across teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with The Walt Disney Company and an understanding of how its values, operations, and business priorities drive exceptional Guest and Cast experiences.

  • Experience in Resorts, Premium Services, or Transportation Operations

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical partners

  • Experience working in or supporting operational locations and leadership

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field

The base salary for this position in Lake Buena Vista, FL is $91,000 - $121,900. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
