Join our Team. SUMMARY OF POSITION Palmas Restaurant Group has been an Operating Participant with Walt Disney World since 1982, operating a variety of food and beverage locations at EPCOT Theme Park, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney Springs. Our company prides itself on creating unique, memorable dining experiences by providing our guests with world-class service, exceptional cuisine, and beautiful restaurant atmospheres.

We offer a fun and fast-paced working environment, competitive pay rates, and many Disney perks. The Barback acts as the primary support person to the bartenders. This position is responsible for assisting in keeping the bar area stocked with essential items such as spirits, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and garnishes, including transporting products from storage areas to the outlet (which may involve operating a golf cart when applicable).

In addition, this person often assists with the preparation of essential bar products. Finally, the Barback plays an important role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area and may be called upon to deliver food and beverage orders to guests, as well as collect empty glasses from tables. WORK DUTIES Prepare the bar area for guest arrival Maintain proper levels of all essential bar items during service Assist bartender with any necessary tasks Receive and properly store all liquor, beer and wine orders Work with bartender to ensure proper par levels of all bar items are maintained Maintain the bar area in a clean and organized condition Prepare essential bar products such as simple syrup, fresh lime juice, and drink mixes as necessary Complete all assigned opening and closing duties Display proper food safety procedures at all times Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company guidelines at all times All other tasks as assigned NOTE: This Job Description is subject to change at any time
