Job description

As a Dishwasher/Server, you will perform a variety of food service functions and maintain clean and sanitary conditions of the service area, facilities and equipment. You will also assist in serving beverages in the dining room to the residents and help setting up and cleaning up the dining area. This position must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished in a timely, effective, and safe manner.

Responsibilities:

  •  Operating a dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware, and food service equipment.

  •  Setting up and cleaning dish machine area

  •  Storing clean equipment and utensils

  •  Assisting in keeping preparation and service areas in a sanitary condition

  •  Emptying garbage and moving to dump site.

  •  Sweeping and mopping floors

  • Serving beverages in dining area

  • Setting up dining room and cleaning up dining room

Qualifications:

  •  High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

  •  Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
