NAVA Software solutions is looking for a ServiceNow Discovery Engineer
Details:
ServiceNow Discovery Engineer
Location: Alpharetta Georgia 30005 - Hybrid role 3 days a week onsite
Duration: 12 months

  • ServiceNow platform
  • ServiceNow discovery is the core skill set we are looking
  • ITOM is part of the discovery
  • Interacting with ServiceNow discovery tools like Tanium, Flexera, SCCM, BMC ADDM, etc
  • We collect inventory of the assets info in ServiceNow
  • The team is focusing on inventory
  • Integration with tools
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with discovery technology

Core responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate discovery tooling technologies across a broad spectrum of modern hardware and software IT assets
  • Design and implement discovery solutions in collaboration with existing technologies used to collect technology inventories
  • Define monitoring and operational automation to control and manage discovery coverage, quality of discovered attributes and reconciliation of data.
  • Interact with stakeholders and customers to collect and analyze data and discovery requirements.
  • Design and implement discovery tool and data integrations with the CMDB and other related inventory/system of record in the ITAM ecosystem

Qualifications (minimum)
  • Implementation and operations experience with modern asset specific discovery tools
  • Experience with modern ITAM implementations and discovery integrations
  • Proficiency with cloud, on prem and end user IT asset management practices and procedures
  • Ability to document and convey discovery analyses, network designs, maturation roadmaps and discovery data quality scorecards
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB discovery integrations and reconciliation engine
  • Experience implementing ServiceNow in complex network environments
  • 5+ years of industry experience in a specific ITAM discovery implementations
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile and project management methodology(preferred)
  • Specific implementation experience with Servicenow discovery, Tanium, Flexera, SCCM, BMC ADDM, AWS Config/Trail , google and Azure APIs etc
  • Experience with discovery data reconciliation using Open Source agents/tools (OSQuery etc) and use of Observability, vulnerability scanning data
  • Datwarehousing and Datalake experience to manage, reconcile and manipulate large discovery datasets
