Job description

We are looking for a Informatica Consultant with GCP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical solution discovery with larger enterprise level merchants. 
  • Create innovative, customer driven Solution Proposals and Solution Designs utilizing customers suite of API products including Braintree Credit Card, PayPal Wallet, Venmo, Simility, Hyperwallet, etc.
  • Identify any product/functionality gaps required to deliver a solution and collaborate with internal product and technology teams to define the necessary enhancements to support delivery. Become a recognized technical expert with the internal product set and in identifying potential solutions for new merchant relationships. Work closely with internal teams including compliance, privacy, risk, information security, support and operations to ensure all aspects of a proposal are addressed. Educate the merchants to implement optimal integration strategies, techniques and user experience best practices. Develop Solution Designs and Solution Design templates that can be used for future integrations with enterprise merchants by other Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers and Integration Engineers. Provide leadership within the team. Mentor junior members on solution related issues. Review solution design and vet solution proposals for technical viability. Actively participate with PayPal product management teams on product design and roadmap reviews.
     

Requirements

Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

  • Payment ecosystem comprising Acquirors, Gateways, Processors, Banks, and Merchants
  • Online Payment Solutions including but not limited to: PayPal, Braintree, Chase, AmEx, FirstData, Google Pay, Apple Pay
  • regulatory agency (SEC, DOJ, FINRA), corporate compliance program
  • Payment Card Industry/Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • REST API, SDK, GraphQL
  • API lifecycle management
  • HTTPS, API, REST, VPN’s
  • complex software product architecture
  • Merchants to support the end-to-end integration for Web, Mobile, and Kiosk based Payments

Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Experience can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or work experience.
