Job description

As a Content Creator, you will be the face and hands behind SentinelOne's short-form video content - shooting, editing and publishing platform-native videos that bring fresh, culture-forward storytelling from consumer, sports and political media into the cybersecurity space. You live in front of and behind the camera, you know how to make an audience stop scrolling in the first three seconds, and you turn complex security topics into content people actually want to watch.

This role has two paths depending on your background. If you bring technical or cybersecurity fluency, you'll also take the lead on growing and moderating our presence in community spaces like Reddit and Discord - building direct relationships with the practitioner audiences who live there. If your strength is video and storytelling rather than deep technical chops, you'll focus primarily on content production - but an interest in (or aptitude for) community management is a significant plus and something we're eager to develop in this role over time.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Short-form video, first and foremost: Concept, shoot, edit and publish high-volume, platform-native video content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn video and beyond) that translates cybersecurity topics into content with real cultural relevance
  • Own the on-camera presence: Be a consistent, recognizable voice for SentinelOne on social media. You are comfortable hosting, reacting, interviewing and improvising in front of a camera, not just producing content for others to appear in
  • Community engagement: Respond to and engage with customers, partners and security influencers across SentinelOne's channels and the broader social ecosystem
  • Drive cross-functional content strategy: Partner with demand generation, field marketing, threat intelligence, product marketing, talent brand and other teams, translating their objectives into video and social content that performs
  • Experimentation and growth: Stay on top of evolving platform features, formats and creator trends; borrow liberally from what's working in sports, consumer and political social to identify and test novel ways to grow SentinelOne's audience and community
  • Analytics & reporting: Work with comms leadership and the social media team to establish meaningful performance indicators and report on always-on content as well as specific campaigns
What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

  • A demonstrated track record as a hands-on, on-camera content creator - you can shoot, edit, write and publish short-form video without waiting on an agency or production team (a portfolio or reel is a must)
  • 2-5 years of experience creating content for a brand, publication, campaign or your own channel(s), ideally with time in or adjacent to consumer brands, sports media, political communications, entertainment, or directly within the cybersecurity ecosystem
  • Deep understanding of what makes video travel on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and X - including platform-specific formats, algorithms and audience behaviors
  • Technical or cybersecurity background and experience building or engaging with online communities (Reddit, Discord, Twitch, forums) is highly desired - candidates with this combination will expand community management capabilities as part of this role
  • Comfort translating complex, technical ideas into content that a broad audience wants to watch - cybersecurity expertise is a strong plus, but not a prerequisite for the video-first version of this role
  • Exceptional storytelling instincts, with range across tones (authoritative, punchy, human, urgent) and formats (talking-head, skits, interviews, reactive/trend content)
  • Proficiency with content creation and editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Edits, Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite) as well as social/community management tools and AI applications
  • Highly organized, self-directed and able to manage multiple workstreams and a consistent publishing cadence without losing quality or speed
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media, or a related field - or equivalent experience building an audience/community independently
