Job Summary / Purpose
The Santa Fe Coordinator is a key ministry leadership position on the Greenhouse College team responsible for growing and strengthening Greenhouse's presence at Santa Fe College and the Sunday morning college experience at the Main Campus. This role is highly relational and ministry-focused, with an emphasis on evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, microchurch multiplication, and student assimilation. This role also provides the leadership and coordination necessary to ensure that Sunday mornings are a welcoming and effective pathway into the life and discipleship community of Greenhouse Church.
Position Goals
  • Shepherd and cultivate a thriving, Jesus centered ministry community among students at Santa Fe College
  • Multiply healthy Greenhouse College microchurches by identifying, discipling, and developing student leaders
  • Cultivate a strong culture of evangelism and equip students to confidently reach and invite others into Christian community

Santa Fe College Ministry Leadership
The Santa Fe Coordinator serves as the primary ministry leader for Greenhouse College at Santa Fe College. The goal is to establish a thriving, multiplying ministry presence where students are reached, discipled in community, developed as leaders, and empowered to reach their campus.
Campus Ministry & Evangelism
  • Provide spiritual and ministry leadership for Greenhouse College's evangelism and outreach efforts at Santa Fe College
  • Build, disciple, and mobilize a team of students and volunteers committed to reaching the Santa Fe campus with the gospel
  • Cultivate a consistent relational ministry presence on campus through evangelism, outreach, tabling, events, and other creative opportunities to engage students
  • Teach, train, and personally model evangelism for Santa Fe students & microchurch leaders, creating opportunities for students to grow through active ministry
  • Provide vision and leadership for Welcome Week and other strategic opportunities to reach and connect with students throughout the year
  • Intentionally shepherd students reached through campus ministry toward Sunday gatherings, microchurches, discipleship, and deeper involvement in Greenhouse College

Microchurch Multiplication & Discipleship
  • Multiply healthy Microchurches among Santa Fe students
  • Identify, disciple and develop Santa Fe Microchurch leaders
  • Shepherd students reached at Santa Fe into biblical community, discipleship, and meaningful relationships within the church
  • Meet regularly with Greenhouse College Microchurch leaders for discipleship, development, encouragement, and accountability
  • Lead a Greenhouse College Leaders Core Group and help co-lead in Discipleship Training

Student Leadership Development
  • Build and lead the Santa Fe student board, cultivating a team of students and leaders who take meaningful ownership of ministry on their campus
  • Cast vision and provide spiritual and strategic direction for student board members
  • Equip and empower student leaders to serve as campus ambassadors, outreach leaders, culture-builders, and disciple-makers
  • Meet regularly with student leaders for coaching, discipleship, accountability, and leadership development

Sunday Morning College Ministry
The Santa Fe Coordinator provides primary leadership for the Sunday morning college experience at the HUB Campus. The goal is to create a vibrant and welcoming ministry environment that connects the hundreds of college students attending Sunday morning services to relationships, discipleship, Microchurches, serving, and the broader life of Greenhouse Church.
College Lounge & Student Engagement
  • Lead the Sunday morning College Lounge as a relational environment where college students are welcomed and connected to Greenhouse Church
  • Build meaningful relationships with new & existing students, intentionally shepherding them toward community, discipleship, and meaningful next steps and involvement with Greenhouse Church
  • Collaborate with college staff to strengthen the Sunday morning college experience as an effective place for connection
  • Oversee & ensure the College Lounge environment is welcoming, prepared, and equipped with the food, drinks, supplies, etc. needed to support ministry

Sunday Morning Serve Team
  • Recruit, vision-cast, and develop a strong Sunday morning college serve team
  • Empower serve team leaders to take meaningful ownership
  • Create opportunities for students to discover, develop, and use their gifts through serving

First-Time Guests & Assimilation
  • Ensure first-time college guests are personally welcomed, feel relationally connected and invited into meaningful next steps
  • Intentionally connect students into Greenhouse discipleship pathways, including ABCs: Activate, Breakthrough, and College Microchurches
  • Help students discover meaningful opportunities to serve and use their gifts across Greenhouse, including Kids, Youth, Tech, Café, Hospitality, and other ministry areas
  • Collaborate with the college staff team to strengthen invitational and assimilation strategies

College Internship
  • Help lead and execute the Greenhouse College Internship during the summer
  • Teach, disciple, and develop students throughout the internship
  • Cultivate a strong culture of evangelism and mission that builds momentum toward the fall semester
  • Mobilize interns for meaningful ministry, evangelism, and outreach at Santa Fe College, particularly during Summer B
  • Develop strategies and opportunities to reach, build relationships with, and connect new students throughout the summer
  • Identify, disciple, and develop interns with potential for continued leadership within Greenhouse College

College Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Actively contribute to Greenhouse College staff meetings, ministry planning, and team gatherings
  • Provide regular leadership, insight, and communication to the college staff regarding Santa Fe ministry, Sunday morning ministry, student development, opportunities, and challenges
  • Maintain clear communication and appropriate administrative systems necessary to support effective ministry

  • Passion for evangelism, college ministry, leadership development, and reaching students who are disconnected from Christian community
  • Ability to build meaningful relationships with college students and develop others as leaders
  • Ability to teach, disciple, coach, and spiritually lead students
  • Commitment to developing a strong working knowledge of Greenhouse Church's mission, vision, values, and ministry strategy
  • Strong initiative and ability to move ministry vision into action
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead teams, recruit volunteers, and empower others to take ownership
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple ministry responsibilities
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of social media and digital communication tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn ministry software and applications, including Planning Center
  • A joyful attitude and ability to represent Christ and Greenhouse Church well among diverse groups of people
  • Minimum high school diploma; degree preferred

Physical Demands
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and move furniture/equipment
  • Able to stand for extended periods during Sunday services and ministry events
  • Local travel required; potential global travel required
