Job description

Job Title: Cash Disbursement Specialist
Job Description
This role focuses on processing domestic and international cash disbursements accurately and on time, supporting accounts payable operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The Cash Disbursement Specialist prepares weekly disbursement reports, validates supplier payment details, and provides clear payment information to both suppliers and internal stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to develop within the accounts payable function while working in a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Create accurate and timely weekly disbursement reports to support scheduled payment runs.
  • Execute domestic and international disbursements, ensuring payments are processed correctly and within required timeframes.
  • Validate supplier wire and ACH information to ensure accuracy and mitigate payment errors or delays.
  • Perform bank-related administrative tasks associated with disbursement processing and account maintenance.
  • Provide clear and complete remittance information to suppliers to support their internal reconciliation processes.
  • Respond to internal employees' requests for payment information and status updates in a professional and timely manner.
  • Use ERP systems and QAD to process invoices and disbursements in alignment with accounts payable procedures.
  • Support accounts payable activities such as invoice processing, billing, collections, and general accounting tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with large volumes of financial data.

Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong skills in Excel.

Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid work environment, combining both in-office and remote work. Team members work on-site from Monday through Wednesday and work remotely from Thursday through Friday.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
