Senior Emergency Management Specialist / Planner

Employment Type - Full-Time, Exempt | W-2 Permanent Employee

Location - New Braunfels, TX (Hybrid) with periodic deployment to Joint Field Offices and affected jurisdictions

Compensation $125,000 base plus performance bonus and deployed uplift when deployed

Permanent Position: This is a full-time permanent W-2 position anchoring PSCG's core team. The role is not tied to any specific task order and provides stability, institutional ownership, and leadership across PSCG's portfolio of federal disaster response engagements.

Essential Healthcare Solutions LLC is supporting Pinnacle Solutions & Consulting Group (PSCG), an SBA-Certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in New Braunfels, Texas, in its search for motivated, solution-driven team players eager to embrace the responsibilities of working in a dynamic and professionally rewarding environment.

PSCG is an SDVOSB delivering federal disaster response, emergency management, and recovery consulting. We place our people at the center of active response operations and deliver the planning products that move disaster recovery forward.

THE ROLE

PSCG is seeking a Senior Emergency Management Specialist to serve as our lead planner across active task orders in federal disaster response and recovery. The role combines reach-back planning work from our New Braunfels office with periodic deployment to JFOs, RFOs, and state emergency operations centers in direct support of prime contractor missions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

โ€ข Develop Incident Action Plans, Situation Reports, and Planning Section products using ICS and NIMS doctrine.

โ€ข Support ESF coordination (ESF 3, 6, 7, 8, 12, 14) at JFOs and state EOCs.

โ€ข Produce damage assessment reports, mission assignment documentation, and RFI responses.

โ€ข Coordinate directly with FEMA FCO staff, state coordinating officer staff, and local emergency management.

โ€ข Author deployed situation reports and after-action documentation.

โ€ข Advise PSCG and prime contractor teams on Stafford Act authorities and PA program scope.

โ€ข Mentor mid-level emergency management specialists assigned to task orders.

โ€ข Deploy as required for 30- to 90-day rotations to active disaster sites.

WHAT YOU NEED

โ€ข Bachelor's degree in emergency management, public administration, homeland security, or related discipline.

โ€ข Eight or more years of emergency management experience at federal, state, or local level.

โ€ข Direct disaster response experience on at least one Stafford Act declared disaster.

โ€ข ICS 100, 200, 300, 400; IS-700; IS-800 complete.

โ€ข U.S. Citizenship; ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

โ€ข Current U.S. passport and medical fitness for deployment.
