Description

Restorations by Highmark is adding an experienced Project Manager to our growing team. Our Project Managers oversee restoration projects for residential and commercial properties damaged by fire, water, or mold - from inception to completion - managing timelines, budgets, and resources while coordinating with clients, insurance companies, and subcontractors. This role ensures every project is completed on time, within scope, and to Highmark's high standard of craftsmanship and homeowner satisfaction. We are a local disaster cleanup and restoration company that helps families and businesses get back on their feet after property damage.


Pay: $75,000 - $90,000 per year


Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee restoration projects from start to finish - on time, within scope, and on budget.

Conduct initial site assessments, review contract and scope with sales before job start, and confirm design is on track.

Set clear expectations with clients on budgets and timelines, and build and maintain the project schedule in BuilderTREND.

Notify clients, subcontractors, and suppliers of start and delivery dates, and provide weekly schedule updates.

Accurately forecast labor in weekly labor meetings and link subcontractors to schedule items.

Obtain building permits and schedule all necessary inspections.

Create and manage purchase orders and change orders; price client selections and change orders.

Update project budgets bi-weekly to maintain accurate WIP, approve invoices promptly, and ensure draws are completed per contract.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering regular updates and resolving concerns quickly.

Lead, manage, and hold accountable a team of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on site.

Maintain detailed project documentation and report to clients, insurance companies, and management as needed.

Manage punch lists and warranty items per company process.

Ensure all work meets industry standards, company quality guidelines, OSHA safety requirements, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

Qualifications:


Proven experience in project management, particularly in water, fire, and mold restoration.

Certifications in water, fire, and mold restoration (e.g., IICRC) are highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and insurance processes.

Experience with Xactimate or other estimating software.

Proficiency with project management software; experience with Microsoft Office, BuilderTREND, and Sage preferred.

Ability to manage multiple projects at once while staying organized and prioritizing effectively.

Strong negotiation, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.
