Job Description
  • Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard surveying techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications
  • Plan, schedules conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of the surveying work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope
  • Perform work that involves conventional surveying practice but may include a variety of complex features
  • Direct conversations with clients at beginning, during, and end of projects
  • Capable of supervising or coordinating the work of surveyors, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments
  • Seal professional surveying documents

Job Requirements
  • PLS Licensure/FDOT Precertification required
  • 8 years of experience in Land Surveying
  • Strong Computer Skills, working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation and Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience with civil engineering projects preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of BGE employees, clients, and others
