Job description

Job Overview: Dishwashing and sanitation of the restaurant and other kitchen prep work as assigned. Performs duties in a conscientious, company-oriented manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the dish area and equipment, before, during and after shift
  • Removes, washes and returns floor mats to their proper areas
  • Empties kitchen trash cans into outside bins, checking contents for tableware and kitchen utensils
  • Vacuums offices and employee areas
  • Maintains the kitchen floor, keeping it clean, dry and free from obstructions
  • Breaks down all boxes from deliveries and puts them into outside trash bins
  • Transports clean dishes and glassware to specified areas
  • Proper operation of dish machine:
    • Sorts and racks dishes, glasses and flatware in racks provided
    • Loads machine
    • Checks and maintains proper detergent and rinse agent levels
    • Starts machine
    • Drains and refills machine at prescribed interval
