VA Disability Nurse Practitioner – West Des Moines, Iowa

Overview

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform VA Disability Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. Veterans in West Des Moines, Iowa. This clinic-based role focuses on structured medical evaluations and clear documentation rather than treatment or ongoing patient management.

The VA Disability Nurse Practitioner – West Des Moines, Iowa position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You'll review medical histories, conduct in-person assessments, and document objective findings that support the VA disability claims process.

This is an evaluation-only role with no prescribing, treatment, call, nights, or weekends. The predictable weekday schedule and focused clinical workflow allow you to concentrate on assessments and documentation.
