The Manager for the Account Services Division manages a team of Account Executives who are responsible for retention of co-brokered accounts by providing services and support for partner agencies and their customers. Achieves retention goals by hiring, training and managing employees to achieve growth in book of business. Works closely with partner agencies, their producers and customers to maintain an understanding of the evolving market.
This is a remote position; however, successful candidates must reside in the Eastern or Central time zones. Our teams collaborate using video and screen sharing technology which means you'll feel like you're part of the team while also enjoying the convenience of working from home.

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage a team of Account Executives to achieve departmental and individual goals.
  • Qualify and educate prospective agencies about the company's services based upon their needs.
  • Document and report all retention activity.
  • Communicate the progress and status of potential and existing partnered agencies to the Sales Team on a weekly basis.
  • Openly communicate all concerns and questions to upper management as needed.
  • Provide continuous training for the ASD Account Executives.
  • Assist the team as needed to resolve partnered agency/customer questions, concerns and issues.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to partner agencies and or customers when necessary.
  • Various other duties as assigned by upper management.
  • Occasional long, irregular hours.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally.
  • Analyze and resolve problems to assist partnered agencies and their producers in presenting the best solution to prospective clients.
  • Determine when situations need to be escalated.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-7 years of experience
  • In-depth knowledge of group insurance products preferably attained through working in a marketing, renewals or selling role.
  • Active Health and Life License.
  • Experience managing a team, ideally in account management or renewal setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook Exchange; proficient with various web browsers.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales techniques
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writing.
  • Read, comprehend, and interpret moderately complex documents including sales, underwriting, and Company guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and promote cooperation in a team environment
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
