This role is uniquely remote, allowing licensed mental health therapists to work from the comfort of their homes while providing essential services to students. • Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess the mental health needs of students.
• Develop tailored, individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and input from interdisciplinary teams.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care techniques, to promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintain diligent documentation of therapy sessions and ensure compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case reviews and team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and modifications to treatment plans.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops aimed at educating students about mental health awareness and coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with educational staff to provide additional support and resources to students facing challenges that impact their academic performance.

This position primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our clients often include those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. By fostering a supportive and understanding environment, you will help students navigate their mental health journeys while collaborating with teachers and parents to enhance overall well-being.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active and valid Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMSW) license in the state of New Jersey.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively advocate for and support clients.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate client records and documentation.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting while still being a proactive team player.

Candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in social work, particularly within educational environments, are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or play therapy will be beneficial in this role. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital tools for remote care delivery is also preferred.
