Job description

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Performs any combination of following tasks to receive, store, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Must support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”
  • Must Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.”
  • Must be able to reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Must be able to conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, handtruck, or electric handtruck.
  • Must be able to sorts and stock materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Must be able to sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
  • Must be able to complete requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Must be able to assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Must be able to label materials with identifying information, using stencil, crayon, or other marking device.
  • Must be able to opens bales, crates, and other containers, using handtools.
  • Must be able to keep record amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Must be able to organize and stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. May use computer to enter records.
  • Must be able to compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
  • Must be able to drive vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
  • Must be able to complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
  • Must be able to prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Must be able to maintain inventory records.
  • Must be able to Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazards.
  • Must be able to perform all other job related duties as requested by supervision.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Educational and experience requirements include: Four years of similar construction/maintenance warehousing experience or equivalent combinations of training and related experience. Completed the Matrix Service Safety training and Client / Site specific training. Must be able to maintain an active status within the DISA drug testing program.

Hiring range: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
