Job Summary

The material handler is responsible for ensuring that all components and raw materials are supplied to the injection workstations in a timely and accurate manner.  This role supports daily production in the handling of finished goods, scrap, and grinding.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor press and workstations to maintain proper supply levels
  • Consistent rotation on the production floor removing scrap and runners from work areas
  • Grinding of scrap materials
  • Remove finished good pallets from production floor, add pallet label, stretch-wrap and place in staging area
  • Assist with inventory counts, material tracking, and warehouse organization on materials and components
  • Relieves machine operators for breaks and performs all aspects of the machine operator role as required
  • Maintain high level of housekeeping free of grease, dirt, and debris
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Job Requirements

  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to train on use of forklift, hand jack, grinder, and label printing
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Frequent walking/standing
  • Work is performed in an industrial production setting
