About the Role / Position Summary
The Client Development Intern will gain exposure to a wide variety of activities including sales strategy, event planning, digital marketing, podcast production, and database optimization. At FEG, the Sales and Marketing teams work closely with each other. This role reports to the Vice President of Institutional Sales and would support initiatives directly tied to the growth of the firm.

What You'll Do / Position Responsibilities
Sales
  • Sales Strategy: Support of sales campaigns, pipeline tracking, and client segmentation analysis.
  • Sales Presentations: Develop new ideas and branding for prospective client presentations.
  • CRM & Database Optimization: Maintain and enhance client databases (HubSpot & Dynamics 365), ensuring data accuracy and usability for reporting and outreach.

Marketing
  • Event Planning: Support the coordination and logistics of investor events and conferences.
  • Ad hoc support: Assisting team with administrative requests, as needed.

What We Require / Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to work 20 hours per week at our corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, OH.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field.
  • Previous internship experience preferably in the finance or investment field.

What You'll Bring / Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Ability to identify and resolve or appropriately escalate complex issues with minimal guidance.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies) to streamline workflows, conduct research, draft communications, analyze data, and support business operations.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint with strong attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Listen and learn while still taking full ownership of individual scope of work.
  • Engage collaboratively with clients, investment teams and peers.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Prioritize effectively and decisively across complex teams and competing priorities.
  • Enjoy working in and learning about the financial investment industry.
