Job description

A Director is one who consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture and has a servant’s heart. They have a passion for people and serving others, have strong character, take initiative and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Directors are responsible for executing daily operations and keeping team members/leaders accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Directors’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Directors lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Base pay: $24.00 - $26 per hour

Director Responsibilities:

  • Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
  • Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures
  • Mentor team members and leaders while building high performing teams

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
  • Excellence in communication for audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to translate leadership goals into actionable tasks
  • Cross-industry experience is welcome — a restaurant background is not necessary.
  • You’ll need to be flexible with your schedule. Your work hours will be based on business needs.
  • You have demonstrated leadership ability with at least two years of experience in a customer-facing setting.
