Job description

Labor Solutions is seeking Welding Supervisor for the Glendale Heights are. Please do not miss this great opportunity!


Hours: 1st Shift – 6AM to 2:30PM. Working overtime and Saturdays may be required

Pay: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour. DOE



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of spot-welding processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Eagerness to learn, take direction, and adapt to new tasks
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines


Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Machine Operation: Operate spot welding machines safely, following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Material Handling: Load and unload materials onto the welding machinery efficiently.
  • Setup & Adjustment: Perform basic setup, adjustments, and monitoring of welding equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Quality Control: Monitor spot weld quality, inspect finished products for defects, and report any issues immediately.
  • Preparation & Assembly: Prepare, clean workpieces, and assist in assembling sheet metal parts and components prior to welding.
  • Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Production Targets: Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed daily production goals.
